The OBEY Women’s Girl Gang is Worldwide! Meet the newest member of the OBEY Posse, Amanda Smith, a bad-ass photo journalist and activist who documents people and communities bringing about change. Amanda’s work has been published in Rolling Stone, ELLE Japan and Vanity Fair France, covering topics like civil and environmental rights at the Dakota Access Pipeline Resistance Camp, First Nation musicians on the quest for Truth and Reconciliation, and the Women’s March on Washington in Portland.

For her latest photo excursion, Amanda has traveled to the West Bank, Palestine to document three young women who are fighting against what society expects of them, and helping to support and empower their communities.
