Liphemra live on rooftop in DTLA

Our favorite SoCal band Liphemra is at it again. Just a few days ago they released this incredible live video of their new song Did You Cry? which is expected to be released digitally on imprint label Future Gods this September. This will also be Liphemra’s first official release on the label. The band created the live video as a submission for GoPro‘s “Done in One video” contest. The premise: to creatively film a live music video all in one take using only one GoPro. Lead singer Liv explains, “So we called up our friend who is a professional drone operator, snuck up on this roof in downtown LA in the middle of the hottest day, quickly setup a full recording studio, and started filming. It was seriously so hot and disgusting. I’m surprised we even pulled it off. I thought for sure we’d get kicked out before we finished.”
