OBEY RECORDS EPISODE #75: KLASSE WRECKS

We had the pleasure of working with Luca Lozano and Mr. Ho on the ‘Free Tekno’ Collection. The collection is inspired by the aesthetics and sounds of the free party scene that followed the demise of the Acid House explosion. This countercultural phenomenon transformed remote countryside locations across the UK and mainland Europe, bringing together anarchic youth subcultures driven by beats from Techno producers during the mid to late 1990s and early 2000s.

Klasse Wrecks is a multi-disciplinary record label based in between Hong Kong and the U.K. co-founded by Luca Lozano and Mr. Ho. Aside from releasing music on digital, vinyl, CD and tape cassette format, the label also produces zines, clothing and prints.

This mix was played during the OBEY x KLASSE WRECKS ‘FREE TEKNO’ collection release event in Amsterdam.
