JUST ANOTHER DAY, AMSTERDAM 1980

Wir sind die Holländer (Yes indeed… We Are The Dutch!) is a two month Dutch take over in the city center of Berlin. Initiated by music agency Sizzer Amsterdam and HALAL Film And Photography as a two month temporary office in the Berlin OBEY Showroom. Throughout April and May they will invite different players from the current creative and entrepreneurial Dutch landscape for exhibitions, dinners, parties and other shenanigans.

I have stacks of them kept in empty shoeboxes. Growing up I always stuck them on my bedroom door, overlapping each other as I tried to cover all the empty spaces. As shit got lame, a cooler sticker took its place, red faded to pink, corners would slowly peel and collect dust.

GIANT nails.

These backyard pool-shredding, acid-dropping dudes are better known as The Shrine and Dirty Fences. These guys play loud and they play fast.
